Everyone is probably sick of those annoying radio and TV ads for Harveynorman.ie   - "Just Click"
Well I clicked - and found that all I can do is browse the goods - nothing can be bought online at Harvey Norman’s Irish website. What a waste of time !
In 2010 everyone expects online shopping to be the norm - (but not at Harvey Norman)

We already have a few other useless electrical retailers websites in Ireland Currys.ie , PcWorld.ie - neither of these sites allow you to buy anything !

PC World Ireland still don’t allow online shopping  for their Irish customers. For a while in 2007 they did allow online purchases - but not anymore.
 
Irish residents looking for computers , electronics, digital cameras etc -  could try Pixmania  instead for online shopping - they sell a wide range of electrical goods and digital cameras, laptops, , mp3 players sat nav etc. They deliver anywhere in Ireland.
Pixmania are owned by DSG - the same company that owns  PC World, Dixons and Currys - so you should have no worries about shopping online with them.

Amazon UK now deliver laptops, computers and all other electrical items to Ireland  with free delivery option on orders over £25 - check out the prices on Amazon and compare them before you buy.

Komplett is another electrical / computing online shop that delivers to Ireland. Prices in Euros. Delivery starts at €12.50.

Misco specialise in computers and computer parts. They deliver to Ireland too.

Bargain hunters are out in force and m Many of the larger shops like PC World, Dixons, Harvey Norman and Homebase are starting sales on St Stephens Day or Dec 27th. The January sales now start in December - shopping is the nation’s hobby. Online shops have plenty of good bargains and reductions in the sales too. Shop online and  keep warm and dry and avoid the traffic and queues.

Dixons and PC World don’t allow online shopping for Irish customers - but Pixmania is the online electrical shop owned by the same company  - so you can find all you need online at Pixmania.

My old "spare" computer is out of action since we had a lightning storm a couple of weeks ago - so I am looking for a replacement. I want something cheap  under €600 euro if possible but with a minimum of 1024 RaM and  80GB Hard disk. I noticed PCWorld  advertising some "unbeatable" offers - one of those is a Toshiba Laptop with 1Gb Ram , 120Gb Hard Disk and a 15.4 inch widescreen. The processor is a Celeron M530 The Model is listed as L40 14i - but it is on Pixmania as the 650 14i.
So much for unbeatable offers! Pixmania are selling the same Toshiba Laptop for  €574.90 - €75 euro cheaper and delivery to Ireland  is included for that price.
PCworld don’t do online sales in Ireland anyway. The Pixmania delivery charge of €14.90 is worth it because it will save me petrol, save me time, be less hassle and I will not the temptation of buying loads of other stuff I don’t need while I am out.

Electro World is a well known electrical store  in Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. It is part of the massive DSG group of companies - Dixons, Currys and PC  World. The european online store of the DSG group is Pixmania.
So if you are looking for ElectroWorld then you can feel safe shopping online at their sister company Pixmania for all your electrical goods - computing, mp3 players, dvd players, tv’s, appliances, dyson and more

PC World  don’t do online shopping  for Irish customers.  When the Pcworld.ie site is working it just directs you to the UK site - which won’t deliver to Ireland !
Customers in the UK including Northern Ireland can shop online at   PC World UK site -  Delivery charges vary for each product type - but expect to pay no more than £15 GBP delivery. You canorder online and collect instore too if you want (NI stores in Lisburn, Newton Abbey, Bangor and Derry (or Londonderry))
