Boots - the Chemist and Health and Beauty shops have few stores in Ireland - but the Boots.ie site isn’t set up for online shopping and the UK Boots site does not allow delivery to the Republic of Ireland.
Northern Ireland residents  can shop online at Boots Uk Site with no restrictions. There you can buy all your beauty products, slimming aids, baby equipment, perfumes, after shaves - etc

Boots are relaunching a newer and better version of the No.7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum that was selling like crazy in 2007. It is available from April 30th in shops and online here at the  Boots Website.

The scientific study at Manchester University (funded by Boots) compared the Protect and Perfect with a basic moisturiser. Nina Goad, a spokeswoman for the British Association of Dermatologists, said: "Approximately one in five people using the cream will get something extra for their money over plain moisturisers. 43% of people showed an improvement in wrinkles using the Boots cream - while 20% of those using a moisturiser also showed improvements after 6 months.

The serum costs almost £100 pounds for 200ml.  You can get 30ml for under £20 . So it is not cheap - but there are more expensive products available elsewhere. What price Beauty ?

The shoping frenzy and hype surrounding continues - the Boots Number 7 anti wrinkle cream, was featured on a Horizon programme on BBC2 that scientifically backed the lotion. Massive queues  formed when Boots stores announced new stock.

At a failrly low price of  £16.75 it’s a lot cheaper than other products on the market. Boots reported that a whole year’s supply of the lotion had sold out within two weeks of the Horizon broadcast.
